Shrinking the World Wide Web Have you ever ended up frustrated by the sheer number of results on search engines? Tired of finding sites that don't target your Town, County or State? We think the size of the Web is a problem when searching for local information so we're doing something about it.

What's the plan? We're building a customised search engine for every ZIP Code in the US, that's over 40,000 search engines. Each one will favor websites that are either local or serve the area. This should give great results when looking for local services, information or products. Best of all, we're letting everyone improve their local search engine.

Help us by submitting local websites. You might be glad to hear that it's simple for you to help out. We'll be accepting site suggestions from 9th April 2008. We're looking for people to let us know about good local sites and also tell us about sites that didn't live up to their expectations.
